Walnut Parfait A dessert made in layers of sponge cake, chocolate ganache, cream cheese and coffee yogurt. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 Jul 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Walnuts, Oil Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Walnut Parfait 1 tablespo for garnishing Walnuts chopped for greasing Oil 1/2 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar) ½ cup + for garnishing Chocolate chips 1 teaspoon brown sugar/jaggery 1/2 cup Cream cheese 3 tablespoons Fresh cream 1/4 cup Vanilla essence 1/2 Vanilla sponge cake cut into cubes 8 tablespoons Coffee yogurt Method Grease an aluminium foil sheet with some oil. Caramelize the castor sugar in a non-stick pan. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon walnuts on the aluminium sheet and pour the caramelized sugar over them. Let it set. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave for a minute. Combine the brown sugar and cream cheese in a bowl and mix well. Add cream to the melted chocolate and mix well. Add vanilla essence to sugar-cream cheese mixture and mix well. Place 3-4 cubes of sponge into individual glasses and top with a layer of chocolate mixture followed by 2 tablespoons of coffee yogurt and finally sugar-cream cheese mixture.
