Ingredients
- ⅔ cup refined flour
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons melted butter + for greasing melted butter
- ½ cup castor sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- A pinch of salt
- ¼ cup milk
- Melted chocolate as required
- Crushed roasted peanuts for sprinkling
- Sugar sprinklers for sprinkling
- Ice cream to serve
Method
- Break the eggs into a large bowl, add butter and beat with a hand blender till frothy. Add sugar and beat till the sugar dissolves. Add vanilla essence and beat till pale in colour.
- Sieve the flour and salt into the egg mixture and whisk well. Add milk and whisk to form a smooth batter.
- Heat a waffle cone machine, and grease it with melted butter. Add a portion of the batter to it and press it. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Take it off the heat while hot and shape it like a cone. Set aside to firm up and cool down.
- Dip the rims of each cone in the melted chocolate and sprinkle crushed peanuts or sprinkle sugar sprinklers over the chocolate.
- Scoop out ice cream into the cones, sprinkle some sprinklers on top and serve immediately.
