Ingredients list for Tomato Melon Gazpacho

  • 4 medium Tomatoes
  • 1 small Musk melon peeled
  • 1 White bread slices
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 7-8 Fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 4 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • medium bunch Curly parsley

  1. Roughly chop tomatoes. Halve the melon and remove the seeds from one half. Further cut it into big pieces.
  2. Put both tomatoes and melon into a mixer jar. Tear bread slice and add along with salt, black pepper powder, basil leaves, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice and ½ cup chilled water and blend till smooth.
  3. Add extra virgin olive oil and blend for some more time. Strain into a bowl.
  4. Place the curly parsley in the centre of a serving bowl and pour the soup all around it and serve.
  5. You can also pour into individual shot glasses. Chill and serve.
