Ingredients
- 4 medium tomatoes
- 1 small musk melon, peeled
- 1 white bread slice
- Salt to taste
- ¼ tsp black pepper powder
- 7-8 fresh basil leaves
- ½ tsp Tabasco sauce
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 4 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- A small bunch of curly parsley
Method
- Roughly chop tomatoes. Halve the melon and remove the seeds from one half. Further cut it into big pieces.
- Put both tomatoes and melon into a mixer jar. Tear bread slice and add along with salt, black pepper powder, basil leaves, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice and ½ cup chilled water and blend till smooth.
- Add extra virgin olive oil and blend for some more time. Strain into a bowl.
- Place the curly parsley in the centre of a serving bowl and pour the soup all around it and serve.
- You can also pour into individual shot glasses. Chill and serve.
