Ingredients list for Til Ka Mysore Pak

  • 1 1/2 cups White sesame seeds
  • 2 cups Ghee
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Peanuts coarsely ground


  1. Dry roast the til seeds in a kadai on a medium heat for eight to ten minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Grind to a coarse powder. Heat the ghee in a small kadai. In another kadai cook sugar with half cup of water to make a syrup of two string consistency.
  3. Add the powdered sesame seeds and peanuts and mix well. Add the hot ghee to this mixture slowly stirring continuously.
  4. Grease a thali with ghee, pour the sesame seeds mixture onto it and level the surface. Cut into desired shapes and set aside to cool completely. Separate the pieces and serve.
