By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Black olives , Green olives Cuisine Indian Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 3-Above Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Sweet Olive Pickle 250 grams Black olives 250 grams Green olives 3/4 cup Sugar 3 teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon Mustard powder 2 tablespoons Mustard oil Method Boil two liters of water with salt two teaspoons of salt and blanch the olives for two-three minutes. Drain and spread on a clean cloth to dry. In a bowl, mix together red chilli powder, sugar, remaining salt, mustard powder and mustard oil. Mix in the blanched olives Spoon into a clean and dry jar, seal immediately and keep it in the sun for two days before using.
