Ingredients 

  • 1 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/3 cup malt vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour/ corn starch

Method

  1. Mix tomato ketchup, malt vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, black pepper powder, salt and cornflour in a pan with two cups of water and stir to blend well.
  2. Slowly heat the mixture, stirring continuously till it comes to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for two to three minutes. Cool and store.
