Ingredients list for Sugarcane Panakam

  • 3 cups Sugarcane juice
  • 1/4 inch piece Ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Jaggery (gur) grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • 1 Lemon

Method

  1. Peel, wash and crush ginger. Add two cups water to sugar cane juice, ginger, jaggery and boil for five minutes.
  2. Add cardamom powder, mix well and remove. Strain. Cool and add juice of one lemon. Serve chilled.
