Ingredients
- 1 soya nuggets, soaked and ground
- 2 1/2 tablespoons soaked broken wheat
- 2 onions
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- 1/2 cup soaked barley
- 1/2 cup soaked washed moong
- 1 cup yogurt
- 3 tablespoons almond powder
- A pinch of clove powder
- 2 teaspoons Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
- Juice of 1 lemon
For Garnish
- 2 tablespoons fried onions
- 1 coriander sprig
Method
- Finely chop onions.
Heat oil and ghee on a pan. - Add chopped garlic, chopped onions, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, cinnamon powder and mix well.
- Now add soaked and ground soya nuggets, soaked broken wheat and soaked barley. Cover the pan and let it cook.
- Once cooked remove lid of the pan. Now add curd, almond powder, clove powder, kashmiri mirch powder, finely chopped mint, finely chopped coriander, lemon juice and mix well.
- Remove Veg Haleem in a bowl.
- Garnish with fried onions and coriander.
