Ingredients list for Strawberry and Blueberry Sorbet
- 1 cup Strawberries chopped
- 1 cup Blueberries
- 1¼ cups Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- a pinch Salt
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
Method
- Heat castor sugar in a small deep non-stick pan. Add 1¼ cups water and cook till sugar melts. Add salt and lemon juice, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Blend together strawberries, blueberries and sugar syrup to make a smooth mixture. Strain the mixture into another bowl and set aside for 5-10 minutes.
- Transfer into an air-tight container and freeze for 8-10 hours.
- Scoop out and serve immediately.
