Ingredients list for Strawberry Shikanji
- 2-3 Strawberries sliced
- for garnishing Strawberries
- 4-5 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Ginger juice
- 1 teaspoon Black salt (kala namak)
- 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
- as required Ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon Khus syrup (optional)
Method
- Heat sugar in a non-stick pan. Add 1 cup water and bring to a boil and cook till sugar dissolves. Simmer for 1 minute, take off the heat and let it cool.
- Pour sugar syrup, lemon juice and ginger juice into a jar. Add 2 cups water and mix well.
- Add black salt, cumin powder and mix well. Add ice cubes.
- Add sliced strawberries, khus syrup and mix well.
- Pour into individual glasses and serve chilled garnished with the strawberries.
