Ingredients list for Strawberry Ki Phirni
- 18-20 Fresh Strawberries
- 1 litre Skimmed Milk
- 4-5 tablespoons Rice soaked for ½ hour
- 1/4 cup Sugar Free Natura Diet Sugar
- 8-10 Pistachios blanched, peeled and sliced
Method
- Boil milk in a deep non-stick pan.
Meanwhile drain and grind rice to a coarse paste with a little water. - Chop half the strawberries and halve the remaining to be used for garnishing.
Gradually add the rice paste to the milk and cook, stirring continuously on low heat, for 3-4 minutes or till the mixture thickens. - Add sugar free and continue to cook stirring continuously, till well blended.
Transfer the phirni into a bowl and set aside to cool down to room temperature. - Add chopped strawberries and mix well.
Pour into kasoras or earthenware bowls, tap them a bit, garnish with pistachios and strawberry halves.
Place in the refrigerator to chill. Serve chilled.
