Ingredients list for Strawberry Ki Phirni

  • 18-20 Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 litre Skimmed Milk
  • 4-5 tablespoons Rice soaked for ½ hour
  • 1/4 cup Sugar Free Natura Diet Sugar
  • 8-10 Pistachios blanched, peeled and sliced


  1. Boil milk in a deep non-stick pan.
    Meanwhile drain and grind rice to a coarse paste with a little water.
  2. Chop half the strawberries and halve the remaining to be used for garnishing.
    Gradually add the rice paste to the milk and cook, stirring continuously on low heat, for 3-4 minutes or till the mixture thickens.
  3. Add sugar free and continue to cook stirring continuously, till well blended.
    Transfer the phirni into a bowl and set aside to cool down to room temperature.
  4. Add chopped strawberries and mix well.
    Pour into kasoras or earthenware bowls, tap them a bit, garnish with pistachios and strawberry halves.
    Place in the refrigerator to chill. Serve chilled.
