Ingredients for Sprout Soup Recipe

  • Mixed sprouts boiled 1/4 cup

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Ginger chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Onion chopped 1/4 cup

  • Tomatoes chopped 1/4 cup

  • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons

  • Shredded cabbage 1 tablespoon

  • Vegetable stock 2 cups

  • Salt to taste

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • White pepper powder a pinch

Method

Step 1

Heat butter in a non stick pan, add garlic, ginger and cook till golden brown.

Step 2

Add onions and saute till light brown. Add tomato puree and cook for a minute.

Step 3

Add red chilli powder, mixed sprouts, cabbage saute for a minute and add vegetable stock, salt and sugar and let it simmer for fifteen to twenty minutes.

Step 4

Serve hot garnished with coriander and white pepper powder.
