Ingredients list for Smoersnuk
- 500 grams Salted and smoked snuk
- 2 tablespoons Texan spices
- 4 tablespoon Olive oil
- 3 medium Onions sliced
- 1 tablespoon Chicken stock powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 medium Potatoes boiled and sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Dried mixed herbs
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Method
- De-bone and shred the snuk fish. Keep aside. Heat olive oil and spread all over the skillet.
- Add onions and stir-fry on high heat till light brown. Add Texan spices, chicken stock powder or chicken cube, paprika or red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
- Mix well. Add potatoes and shredded snuk and mix. Add black pepper powder, salt and dried mixed herbs.
- Toss to mix well. Finish with freshly squeezed lemon juice and serve.
