Ingredients list for Roasted Garlic Bread
- 2 Garlic bulbs
- 1 Baguette bread
- 2 teaspoons Olive oil
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
- 1 pinch Paprika powder
- a few sprigs Fresh curly parsley
- 2-3 sprigs Fresh rosemary
- 1/4 cup Butter softened
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cut off a thin slice from the bottom side of 2 garlic bulbs, place them cut side upwards on a baking tray, drizzle 1 tsp olive oil on each bulb, sprinkle crushed black peppercorns and paprika powder. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, finely chop a few sprigs of parsley and rosemary leaves.
- Slice the baguette into thick slices without cutting through.
- Take butter in a bowl, add parsley, rosemary and crushed black peppercorns. Squeeze the pulp of the roasted garlic and add it to the butter and mix well.
- Apply the butter mixture between each slice of the baguette. Place it on the baking tray, keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Separate the slices and place on a serving platter and serve hot.
