Ingredients list for Quick Gajar Halwa
- 7-8 medium Carrrots
- 3/4 cup Mawa / Khoya , grated
- 4 tablespoons Pure ghee
- 3/4 cup Condensed milk
- 5-6 Cashewnuts , chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Peel and thickly grate carrots.
- Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add carrot and mawa, mix and saute for 1 minute.
- Add condensed milk, most of the cashewnuts and green cardamom powder and mix well.
- Add milk and mix well. Cover the cooker with its lid and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with remaining cashewnuts and serve hot or cold.
