Ingredients list for Puri - SK Khazana

  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup Semolina (rawa / suji)
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespo to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Mix together flour, semolina, salt and oil along with water as required. Knead into stiff dough.
  2. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside to rest for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into equal portions, apply a little oil and roll out into puris.
  4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the puris, one at a time, till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Arrange the puris in serving plates and serve hot with a bowl of aloo bhaji.
