Ingredients 

  • 4 large wafer potatoes
  • Salt to taste 
  • Oil for deep-frying 

Method

  1. Peel potatoes and set aside. Pour plenty of water in a large bowl and sprinkle a little salt, soak the potatoes in it.
  2. Thinly slice the potatoes and cut them into thin strips, soak them in the salted water.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. , Drain the potato strips, spread them on a kitchen towel and pat dry.
  4. Drop in the potato strips into the hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Transfer them to a serving platter and serve.
