Ingredients
- 4 large wafer potatoes
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep-frying
Method
- Peel potatoes and set aside. Pour plenty of water in a large bowl and sprinkle a little salt, soak the potatoes in it.
- Thinly slice the potatoes and cut them into thin strips, soak them in the salted water.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. , Drain the potato strips, spread them on a kitchen towel and pat dry.
- Drop in the potato strips into the hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Transfer them to a serving platter and serve.
