Ingredients list for Peppermint Chocolate
- 20 Peppermint Candies
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate chopped
- 4 cups Milk
- 6 tablespoons Sugar
- Fresh cream for drizzling
- for garnishing Chocolate shavings
Method
- Melt chocolate in the microwave for thirty seconds. Remove from oven and whisk till smooth.
- Heat milk in a deep non-stick pan, add sugar, stir and heat till the sugar melts.
- Add melted chocolate and mix well. Simmer further three to four minutes.
- Coarsely crush peppermint candies, reserving some for garnishing, and add to the chocolate milk. Mix well and bring to a boil. Switch off the heat, cool down the milk to room temperature and refrigerate for one hour.
- Pour the drink into four individual tall glasses, drizzle little fresh cream and garnish with the chocolate shavings and reserved crushed candies.
- Serve chilled.
