By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Nov 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Bell Pepper, Black Peppercorns Cuisine Fusion Course Gravies, Sauces and Stocks Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Pepper Chili Sauce 7-8 Bell Pepper crushed 3 medium Black Peppercorns 1/4 inch pieces 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 4-5 Cloves 1 inch sti Cinnamon 6 medium Tomatoes chopped 1 medium Onion chopped 1/2 cup Brown sugar 1/4 cup Cider vinegar 1 Bay leaf to taste Salt Method Place cloves and cinnamon in a microwave plate and dry roast on Microwave HIGH for two minutes. Grind to a coarse powder. Place tomatoes, onions, brown sugar, cider vinegar (replace with any available vinegar), clove-cinnamon powder, red chilli powder and bay leaf in a large microwave bowl. Cover and cook on Microwave HIGH for fifteen minutes. Remove. Stir in capsicums, salt and add freshly crushed peppercorns. Cook, uncovered, on Microwave HIGH for fifteen minutes or until the mixture thickens. Remove the bay leaf and pour into hot, sterilized jars. Seal and cover. Best stored in the refrigerator.
