Pedewali Meethi Lassi

Indain Lassi with a twist. Pede wali lassi is a delicious beverage recipe. It is very famous in Amritsar. It is a very revitalizing and healthy drink made up of milk and curd and is mildly spiced (sweet or salted) and has varied flavors and adaptations. The Lassis are thick, foamy and creamy. This recipe has featured on the show Khanakhazana.

Ingredients list for Pedewali Meethi Lassi

  • 3 cups Yogurt
  • 1 cup Malai Peda
  • 6 Malai peda crumbled
  • 1 cup Ice cubes crushed
  • as required Fresh malai
  • 4 Almonds slivered


  1. Place the yogurt in the blender jar. Add the sugar and three crumbled pedas and blend till smooth.
  2. Add the ice cubes and blend again. Pour into tall glasses.
  3. Top with malai, some more crumbled pedas and almond slivers.
  4. Serve immediately.
