Ingredients list for Peanut Butter Pie
- 1½ cups + tablespoons Peanut butter
- 10-15 Dark chocolate biscuits
- ¼ cup + 8 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- ½ cup Fresh cream
- 1 cup Dark chocolate chopped
- to sprinkle Mango chocolate chips
- to sprinkle Orange chocolate chips
Method
- Take dark chocolate cookies in a plastic zip-lock bag, seal and gently beat them with a rolling pin to make a fine powder. Transfer into a bowl.
- Take ¼ cup butter in a microwave proof bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds or till it melts. Add it to dark chocolate cookie powder and mix well.
- Line an aluminium tart mould with cookie-butter mixture. Refrigerate till set.
- Take 8 tablespoons butter, peanut-butter and powdered sugar in another bowl and whisk with an electric beater till creamy.
- Put the peanut butter mixture over the cookie base and level it out. Refrigerate till set. This is pie.
- To prepare ganache, heat cream in a non-stick pan and bring to boil. Add dark chocolate, mix and cook till it melts. Remove from heat and cool.
- Spread ganache on top of peanut butter layer and tap. Sprinkle mango chocolate chips and orange chocolate chips on top. Refrigerate till set.
- Demould, cut into wedges and serve.
