Ingredients list for Parsley Garlic And Mushrooms On Toast

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley
  • 4 cloves Garlic Cloves sliced
  • 10-12 Button mushrooms sliced
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Whole wheat flour (atta)
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • to taste Salt
  • 5-6 Black peppercorns crushed

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Slice bread diagonally. Toast the bread slices in the preheated oven. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion and sauté lightly. Add garlic and continue to sauté.
  2. Add whole wheat flour and continue to sauté till the raw smells disappear. Add the milk gradually and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  3. Add mushrooms, salt, crushed black peppercorns, parsley and mix. Cook till the mixture thickens.
  4. Arrange the toasts on a serving plate, spread the mixture over the toasts and serve immediately.
