Ingredients for Pancakes Premix - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 1/2 cups

  • Milk powder 5 tablespoons

  • Cornflour/ corn starch 5 tablespoons

  • Baking powder 3/4 teaspoon

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 3/4 cup

  • Melted butter 2 tablespoons

  • Cold butter cubes to serve

  • Honey to serve

  • Fresh fruits to serve

Method

Step 1

Sieve refined flour into a large bowl. Add milk powder, cornflour, baking powder and castor sugar and whisk till well combined.

Step 2

Transfer into an air tight container and store up to 20 days in a dry place.

Step 3

For making one portion, take 1 cup of the prepared pre mix in a bowl, add 2 tbsps melted butter and ½ cup water and mix well. Rest the batter for 5-10 minutes.

Step 4

Heat a non-stick pan, drizzle some melted butter and spread it with a tissue paper. Pour a ladle of batter and cook on medium heat till the underside is golden brown.

Step 5

Flip the pancake and cook the other side till cooked completely. Make more pancakes similarly.

Step 6

Transfer them onto serving plates and serve hot with butter, honey and fresh fruits.
