Ingredients list for Overnight Chocolate Oats

  • 1 1/2 cups Steel cut oats
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 1 Ripe banana
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 Medum apple
  • 1/2 Medium orange
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Chia seeds
  • 6-7 Seedless dates chopped
  • to garnish Fresh mixed berries
  • to garnish Mixed nuts chopped
  • to serve Greek yogurt


  1. Peel the banana, break into smaller pieces and put it into a blender jar. Add milk, cocoa powder and honey and blend till smooth.
  2. Grate apple into a large bowl, squeeze the orange juice into it. Add oats, chia seeds, dates and the chocolate-banana milk. well, cover with a cling wrap and refrigerate for 7-8 hours or overnight.
  3. Discard the cling wrap and mix well. Transfer into serving bowls and place mixed fresh berries on top, sprinkle chopped nuts and a quenelle of yogurt. Serve immediately.
