Ingredients list for Open Sandwich Veg
- 8 slices Bread Slices
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 2 medium Onions finely chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic finely chopped
- 15-20 Spinach leaves (palak) blanched and chopped
- 1/4 cup White sauce
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon White pepper powder
- 1 cup Cheese grated
Method
- Grill the bread slices on one side, cut them into triangles and keep aside. Heat the butter in a pan, sauté onions and garlic and fry briefly.
- Add the spinach and sauté for a minute. Stir in white sauce and adjust seasoning. Spread the mixture on the plain side of bread slices.
- Top each with cheese and grill them in an oven or a griller till the cheese melts or turns golden brown. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
