Ingredients list for No Bake Peanut Butter Bars
- 6 tablespoon Peanut butter
- 12-14 Sweet butter biscuits
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
Method
- Break biscuits roughly and put into a grinder jar.
- Heat peanut butter in a non-stick pan, add butter and sugar and mix and cook till both the butters melt.
- Grind the biscuits
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave oven for 1 minute.
- Switch off the heat under the pan with butter mixture, add the powdered biscuits, Take the pan off the heat and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into an aluminium tray lined with cling film and level the surface and set aside to cool down to room temperature. Keep the tray in the refrigerator to set.
- Take the chocolate bowl out of the microwave oven and mix till smooth. Add cream and whisk till well blended. Set aside to cool.
- When the peanut butter mixture sets, take it out of the refrigerator, pour the chocolate mixture over it and tap the tray till the chocolate layer is spread evenly. Keep the tray back in the refrigerator to set till firm.
- When both the layers are fully set, gently take the tray out of the refrigerator, cut into small bars and serve on a serving platter.
