Ingredients list for Narangi Pulao

  • 1 1/2 cups Orange Juice
  • 1/2 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice soaked
  • 1/4 cup Pure ghee
  • 2 inch stick Cinnamon
  • 3-4 Green cardamom
  • 7-8 Cloves
  • 6-8 strands Saffron (kesar)
  • 1/4 cup Sugar

Method

  1. Put the rice cooker on cook mode and heat ghee in it. Add cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves and sauté till fragrant.
  2. Add rice and sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring lightly. Add orange juice and saffron and mix. Cover and cook till almost done. Add orange squash, ½ cup water and sugar and mix lightly. Cover and cook till done.
  3. Serve hot
