Ingredients list for Narangi Pulao
- 1 1/2 cups Orange Juice
- 1/2 cup Basmati Rice
- 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice soaked
- 1/4 cup Pure ghee
- 2 inch stick Cinnamon
- 3-4 Green cardamom
- 7-8 Cloves
- 6-8 strands Saffron (kesar)
- 1/4 cup Sugar
Method
- Put the rice cooker on cook mode and heat ghee in it. Add cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves and sauté till fragrant.
- Add rice and sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring lightly. Add orange juice and saffron and mix. Cover and cook till almost done. Add orange squash, ½ cup water and sugar and mix lightly. Cover and cook till done.
- Serve hot
