Ingredients list for Mushroom Cheese Croquettes
- 12 Mushrooms
- 1 cup Grated cheese
- Oil 2 tablespoons + to deep fry
- 2-3 Garlic cloves chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Soya sauce
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper powder
- 1 cup Spinach leaves (palak) chopped
- 1/2 cup Cornflour
- 3/4 cup Breadcrumbs
Method
- Remove the stalks and chop the stalks very finely.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan add garlic and saute till golden brown. Add soya sauce, salt, pepper powder, chopped mushroom stems and saute for a minute. Add cheese and mix well.Remove from heat and cool.
- Stuff the mushroom with the cheese mixture and keep them aside.
- In a bowl combine cornflour, salt and water and make a thick consistancy batter.
- Heat oil in a kadai dip the mushrooms in the cornflour batter, coat the in the breadcrums and deep fry till golden brown.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
