Ingredients list for Moongphalli ka Halwa
- 1/4 cup Peanuts (moongphalli)
- 3/4 cup Peanut butter
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 1/4 cup Semolina (suji/rawa)
- 1/2 cup Jaggery , grated
- 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- a pinch Saffron strands
- 1 cup Khoya (mawa)
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add semolina and sauté till fragrant.
- Meanwhile heat another non-stick pan, add some water, jaggery and green cardamom powder, mix and cook, stirring, till jaggery melts.
- Add peanuts and peanut butter to the semolina and mix well. Add jaggery water and cook till the mixture thicken, stirring continuously.
- Add saffron and mix. Add khoya and mix till it melts.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve warm.
