Momos Momos are steamed dumplings filled with vegetables, meat, or paneer, flavoured with spices and served with a tangy spicy chutney. By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Apr 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour, Chicken mince Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non-Veg Ingredients 1 cup chicken minceDough 1 cup refined flour (maida) Salt to tasteStuffing 1 small onion, chopped Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste 1 tsp sesame oil 1½ tsps soy sauce 2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves 1 tsp finely chopped garlic 2 tsps red chilli sauce Schezwan sauce to serve Method For the dough, add refined flour, salt and sufficient water in a large bowl and knead to a semi-stiff dough. For the stuffing, take chicken mince in another bowl, add onion, salt, crushed black peppercorns, sesame oil, soy sauce, chopped coriander and garlic and mix till well combined. Add red chilli sauce and mix well. Set aside. Lightly knead the dough and divide into small portions. Roll each portion in a ball. Roll the dough balls into small discs. Stuff each disc with a portion of the prepared chicken mixture and shape them into momos. Heat sufficient water in deep pan, place the momos basket lined with parchment paper on it and arrange the prepared momos in it and steam for 10-12 minutes.
