Ingredients list for Milkmaid Brownie

  • 1 cup (400 Condensed Milk
  • 700 grams Dark Chocolate chopped
  • 500 grams Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 5 Eggs
  • 600 grams Butter
  • 450 grams Refined flour
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla essence
  • 170 grams Cooking cream

Method

  1. Preheat oven at 180°C.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Keep stirring, once a while.
  3. Beat castor sugar and eggs with an electric beater till fluffy. Add Milkmaid and beat again till well blended.
  4. When the chocolate has melted a little, add butter and keep stirring till the chocolate and butter melts fully.
  5. Add refined flour, cocoa powder and vanilla essence to the sugar-egg mixture and beat again.
  6. Divide the melted chocolate-butter mixture into two parts. Add one part to the refined flour mixture and beat well.
  7. Pour the batter into a silicon mould, tap the mould and place in preheated oven and bake for 20-22 minutes.
  8. To make chocolate ganache, add the cream to the remaining melted chocolate-butter mixture and mix well.
  9. Remove the mould from the oven and demould the brownie. Spread the chocolate ganache on top and place on a serving plate.
  10. Cut into slices and serve.
