Ingredients list for Mango and Mint Lemonade

  • 2 Ripe mangoes peeled and cut into cubes
  • 10-15 Fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • Juice of 1½ lemons
  • 1/2 teaspoon Roasted cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black salt (kala namak)
  • as required Ice cubes
  • for garnish Fresh mint sprigs
  • 600 millilitres Drinking soda
  • for garnish Lemon wedges

Method

  1. Put mango, sugar, lemon juice, roasted cumin seeds, black salt, mint leaves and ice cubes in a blender jar and blend till smooth.
  2. Take four serving glasses and fill half them with mango mixture. Put a mint sprig into each glass.
  3. Fill the glasses with drinking soda and mix lightly.
  4. Arrange a lemon wedge on the rims of each glass and serve chilled.
