Ingredients list for Macaroni Cups - Cook Smart
- 200 grams Macaroni boiled
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Whole wheat flour
- 2 cups Milk
- 6-8 + to garnish Broccoli florets blanched
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Mixed dried herbs
- 50 grams Processed cheese
- 4 teaspoons Tomato ketchup
Method
- Heat olive oil in a deep non-stick pan, add whole wheat flour and saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Add ½ cup milk and mix well so that there are no lumps. Add 1½ cups milk gradually and keep stirring while adding and cook till the mixture reaches a sauce consistency.
- Finely chop 6-8 broccoli florets in a chopper and add to the sauce and mix well.
- Add salt, pepper powder and dried mixed herbs and mix well. Add boiled macaroni and mix well.
- Fill 4 glass cups with macaroni mixture till they are ¾ full. Grate cheese and put some over the macaroni in each cup and top it with 1 tsp tomato ketchup.
- Garnish each cup with a few small florets of broccoli and serve.
