Ingredients list for Luchi
- 2 cups Refined flour
- 1 teaspoon Ghee
- 1 tablespoon Ghee
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Sieve the flour with salt. Add ghee and make soft dough with sufficient water.
- Keep covered with a moist cloth for half an hour. Divide into twenty equal parts and make balls. Roll out each ball into three-inch diameter discs.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and fry the luchis till well puffed and cream coloured. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with cholar dal or any curry of your choice.
