Ingredients
- 140 grams Lemons
- 140 grams Limes
- 2 1/4 cups Sugar
- 1/4 cup Lemon juice
Method
- Peel the lemons and limes, take out the segments and halve them. Cut the peels into strips.
- Put the segments and peels into a deep non-stick pan, add 3 cups water and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- Place the pan on heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook till the segments and peels are tender.
- Add sugar and lemon juice and mix well. Continue to stir till the sugar melts and the mixture thickens. Cool down completely and store in sterilized bottle.
