Ingredients list for Khuzi Panyaram
- For Masala
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 2 - 4 Curry Leaves
- 2 tablespoons Split Black Gram
- 2 tablespoons Chopped Dry Red Chilli
- 1/4 cup Grated Coconut
- 2 tablespoons Chopped Onion
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- For Panyaram :
- 2 cups Dosa Batter
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- For the filling :
- 1/2 cup Crab meat shredded
- To Serve :
- as required Coconut Chutney
- a pinch Red Chilli Powder
- For Garnish :
- as required Fried Red Chilli
- as required Fried Curry Leaves
Method
- To prepare masala in a pan heat oil; add curry leaves, chopped dry red chilli, grated coconut, chopped onion, salt, red chilli powder and mix well.
- In a bowl mix the dosa batter and the prepared masala together.
- Add oil to the paniyaram maker and add the prepared batter to it Immediately drop ½ teaspoon filling and slightly press .
- Cover it and let it cook for 5-7 minutes and then remove it once cooked from both the sides.
- In a jar serve the coconut chutney and place it on a plate. Arrange the paniyarams on the plate and sprinkle red chilli powder.
- Garnish with fried red chilli and fried curry leaves.
