Ingredients list for Kathi Paniyaram
- 1 1/2 cups Rice flour
- 2 teaspoons Sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon Poppy seeds
- as required Jaggery syrup
- 3/4 cup Scrapped coconut
- Oil for frying
Method
- In a mixing bowl, add rice flour, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, jaggery syrup, scraped coconut and prepare semi soft dough.
- Roll the dough and cut into small diamond pieces-1/2 inch thick.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep fry the pieces in oil on medium flame till golden brown.
- Remove on an absorbent paper. Serve.
