Kanik Dinkache Ladoo

Ingredients list for Kanik Dinkache Ladoo

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Gum resin
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 8-10 Almonds coarsely ground

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a kadai, add gum resin and fry till they puff up and get lightly coloured. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside.
  2. Add whole wheat flour to the ghee remaining in the kadai and sauté on medium heat for eight to ten minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Set aside. Add gum resin, powdered sugar and almonds to the wheat flour and mix well. Roll into ladoos. Cool and store in airtight container.
