Ingredients list for Herbed Garlic Cookies
- 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
- ½ cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
- 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1 teaspoon Fresh rosemary chopped
- 1 teaspoon Fresh parsley chopped
- 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme
- ½ cup Cheddar cheese grated
- 3 Egg yolks
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Chilled butter
Method
- Take refined flour in a bowl. Add wheat flour, cheese, egg yolks, salt, garlic, rosemary, parsley and thyme and mix well.
- Add butter and mix till it resembles breadcrumbs. Add 2-3 tablespoons cold water and mix till well combined. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions, shape them into balls, lightly flatten and place them on a baking tray.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve.
