Ingredients list for Herb Crusted Basa
- 4 Basa Fish Fillets
- 4 White Bread Slices
- 3-4 sprigs Fresh coriander leaves
- 8-10 Fresh mint leaves
- 6-7 Fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- to taste Salt
- Juice of ½ lemon
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C.
- Place fish fillets in a bowl, add ginger-garlic paste, salt and lemon juice, mix well and set aside to marinate for five to seven minutes.
- To make the crust, tear the bread slices and put in a grinder jar. Add parsley, coriander leaves, mint leaves, torn basil leaves and half teaspoon butter and grind into a coarse powder.
- Line a baking tray with aluminium foil and grease the foil with a little butter.
- Add crushed red chillies to the crust mixture and mix well.
- Arrange the marinated fish fillets on the lined baking tray and place the crust mixture over each fillet. Press well.
- Keep tray in the preheated oven and bake for five to seven minutes or till the fish is tender.
- Serve hot.
