Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Healthy Suji Cheela Recipe

  • Semolina 2 cup

  • Whisked Yogurt 1 cup

  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for shallow frying

Method

Step 1

In a bowl together whisk, semolina, curd, coriander leaves and salt. Allow it to rest for fifteen minutes.

Step 2

Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a non stick tawa, pour one ladle of the batter and spread it little. Pour little oil if required. Flip after two minutes and cook from both sides till golden and done.

Step 3

Serve with green chutney.
