Ingredients list for Healthy Masala Bun
- 8 Potatoes
- 2 teaspoons Pav
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds. After they splutter, add potatoes, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt. Mix well and cook for three to four minutes.
- Add mixed sprouts and cook further for a minute. Remove and set aside. Slit the pavs horizontally, without cutting them through. Apply four tablespoons butter on the inner side of pavs and stuff them with the prepared potato mixture.
- Heat a non stick tawa and lightly roast the stuffed pavs with the remaining butter, turning sides, till both sides are evenly golden. Arrange the roasted pavs on serving plate.
- Cut them into four and serve immediately with tomato sauce and green chutney.
