Hasselback Chicken

Ingredients list for Hasselback Chicken

  • 4 Boneless chicken breasts
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon Mixed herbs chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 15-20 Baby spinach leaves shredded
  • 3-4 Bacon strips, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 20-30 grams Mozzarella cheese cut into 1 inch thin pieces

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C.
  2. Make incisions on each chicken breast and transfer in a bowl. Add salt, crushed peppercorns, mixed herbs and Worcestershire sauce and mix well.
  3. Place each marinated chicken on a baking tray. Put some baby spinach leaves, bacon pieces and cheese pieces in between the incisions.
  4. Put the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
