Ingredients
- 250 grams paneer (cottage cheese)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
- 1 teaspoon oil
Method
- Cut cottage cheese into small cubes and skewer them onto satay sticks.
- Heat oil and 1 tablespoons Nutralite in a non-stick pan. Place the skewers in it and cook, rotating the skewers, till lightly browned from all sides. Remove from heat.
- Add brown sugar to the same pan, with remaining Nutralite and cinnamon powder, mix and cook till the sugar melts completely.
- Add cream, mix and cook till the sauce thickens. Switch off heat.
- Coat the skewers with the prepared sauce and place on a serving platter.
- Heat the remaining sauce once again and pour over the skewers. Garnish with a mint sprig and serve warm.
