Ingredients list for Grilled Paneer Sandwich

  • 200 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) cut into 4 thick slabs
  • 8 White bread slices
  • as required Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Green chutney
  • 4 tablespoons Aloo bhaji
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 4 Tomato slices
  • 4 Onion slices

Method

  1. Heat a sandwich griller.
  2. Apply some butter on one side of all the bread slices. Spread 1 tablespoon green chutney on all of them. Spread 1 tablespoon aloo bhaji on 4 slices.
  3. Place a cottage cheese slab over the aloo bhaji and spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on them. Top each with a tomato and onion slice and cover with the remaining bread slices, chutney side facing downwards.
  4. Grease the griller with some butter. Apply some more butter on the sandwiches, place them, one at a time, on the griller, cover and grill till grill marks appear on both the sides.
  5. Cut into triangles, place on serving plates and serve hot with some salad.
