Ingredients list for Grilled Paneer Sandwich
- 200 grams cottage cheese (paneer) cut into 4 thick slabs
- 8 white bread slices
- Butter as required
- 4 tablespoons green chutney
- 4 tablespoons aloo bhaji
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 tomato slices
- 4 onion slices
Method
- Heat a sandwich griller.
- Apply some butter on one side of all the bread slices. Spread 1 tablespoon green chutney on all of them. Spread 1 tablespoon aloo bhaji on 4 slices.
- Place a cottage cheese slab over the aloo bhaji and spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on them. Top each with a tomato and onion slice and cover with the remaining bread slices, chutney side facing downwards.
- Grease the griller with some butter. Apply some more butter on the sandwiches, place them, one at a time, on the griller, cover and grill till grill marks appear on both the sides.
- Cut into triangles, place on serving plates and serve hot with some salad.
