Ingredients list for Granola Bars
- 2/3 cup Almonds chopped
- 1 1/4 cup Oats
- 2/3 cup Raisins
- 2/3 cup Golden apricots finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Prunes soaked in warm water for 10-15 minutes
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 2/3 cup Honey
- 2/3 cups Walnuts chopped
- 2/3 cup Sunflower seeds (charoli/chironji)
- for greasing Oil
Method
- Preheat the oven to 160°C.
- Mix almonds, walnuts, raisins and golden apricots in a bowl.
- Put prunes, cinnamon powder, vanilla essence and honey in a blender jar and blend into a thick paste.
- Add 1 cup oats and blend again, transfer into the bowl. Add remaining oats and sunflower seeds. Mix well.
- Grease an aluminium tray and transfer oat mixture into it. Spread evenly and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool for 15 minutes or till it reaches room temperature, then keep the tray in the freezer to chill. Cut into bars. Store in an airtight container.
