Ingredients list for Fried Idli With Sichuan Sauce
- 10-12 Idlis cut into fingers
- 2 tbsps + deep fry Oil
- 6 Garlic chopped
- 4 Spring onion chopped
- 2 tablespoons Sichuan sauce
- 2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup
- 3 sprigs Spring onion sliced
Method
- Heat the oil in a kadai and deep fry the idli fingers till golden and crisp.
- Drain on absorbent paper. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a kadai; add the garlic and sauté for half a minute. Add the spring onions and continue to sauté for another minute.
- Add the Sichuan sauce and tomato ketchup and stir to mix. Add the fried idlis and sauté over medium heat for one minute, tossing and stirring continuously.
- Add the spring onion greens and toss again to mix well. Serve hot
