Ingredients 

  • 1/2 cup fresh almonds, peeled
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped ginger 
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup almonds blanched and peeled
  • 8-10 florets broccoli
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour/ corn starch
  • 1/2 green capsicum, chopped
  • A pinch of finely chopped dried red chillies 

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non stick pan, add ginger, onion, fresh almonds, blanched almonds, broccoli, orange juice, salt, chilli sauce and saute.
  2. Mix cornstarch with ¼ cup water.
  3. Add green capsicum and half the cornstarch mixture and mix well.
  4. Add finely chopped dry red chillies and mix well.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot with hot steamed rice.
