Ingredients list for French Toast Rolls
- 6-8 Bread slices
- 2 Eggs
- ½ cup Pineapple jelly
- 2-3 tablespoons Nuts chopped
- ½ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 1½ tablespoons Fresh cream
- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- ½ cup Muesli
Method
- Grind muesli in a blender jar till smooth.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Trim the edges of the bread slices and flatten with rolling pin.
- Apply pineapple jam on one side of the bread, add chopped pineapple and roll tightly.
- Break eggs in a bowl, add castor sugar and whisk well. Add fresh cream, cinnamon powder and whisk well.
- Dip the rolls in the egg mixture, coat with muesli and deep-fry in hot oil till golden brown and crisp.
- Spread chopped nuts and serve immediately.
