Ingredients list for Dainty Chocolate Cakes
- 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1/2 cup Butter softened
- 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Milk
- a few drops Vanilla essence
- 1 cup Icing sugar
- 2 teaspoons Cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon Butter melted
Method
- Preheat the oven at 200°C Sieve the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder together into a bowl.
- Cream the butter and sugar together till light and fluffy. Add eggs one by one and mix thoroughly.
- Fold into the flour mixture and add milk to geta dropping consistency. Add vanilla essence and mix well.
- Bake in the preheated oven for twenty minutes Meanwhile to prepare the chocolate glace icing sieve the icing sugar and cocoa powder together into a clean bowl.
